# S3



S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a scalable object storage service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that allows you to store and retrieve any amount of data from anywhere on the web.

## What you can do with this integration

The integration for S3 lets you:

* **Read user data from S3 buckets** and unify them as user profiles inside Krenalis.
* **Write unified users back into S3 buckets** and keep the target synchronized over time.

You can use it both to **collect user data** and to **activate user profiles**.
